I really love seeing before and afters....
I have one to show you today!
Check it out...
I never come across any kind of awesome deal....but my Granny did.
She found these babies at a yard sale for $3.00.
That's .75 per container.
She saw them and knew that I would love them so she snatched 'em up...smart lady!!
They were in serious need of a makeover so I did just that.
Look at this hideous lid...
Gross!!
I took all the handles off, and covered the lids with wood filler.
After letting them dry, which only took about 15 minutes...I sanded and painted them with Krylon White Semi-Gloss spray paint.
I painted the screws and the handles also.
Then, I used Mod Podge to adhere some really cute wrapping paper, attached the handles, and filled the containers with treats.
I'm using these at the Christmas party I'm hosting at work.
I hope they love them as much as I do.

How adorable! They look quite a bit more expensive than $3!
Super pretty! The filler was such a great idea, I need to try that.
That is so cute! I wouldn't have thought to use wood filler - it turned out so well!

These are the cutest little containers ever! :)
Perfect for a Christmas party! Very festive!
What really caught my eye is the red and white wrapping paper - it's so cute! It would also look awesome in my kitchen :)
These are lovely...they'd be a great way to dress up treats for a cookie/treat exchange!
Found you over at C.R.A.F.T.
Cheers!

Stopping by from Tutorial Tuesday, hope you're having a wonderful day!
So cute! I purchased a set like this at Goodwill (hideous country blue lids) with the idea I'd repaint them to match my new craft room. Haven't quite got around to it yet. . . :)

How cute! I just found your blog and love what you did with the treat jars! How clever of you -- you have great creativity and vision. I'm going to try to re-vamp the lids to my glass treat jars even though they are stainless steel. Wish me luck! Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Wow very creative - I'll be on the look out for containers now :+)
